Get to know me

I’m a multifaceted soul with a love for travel, thoughtful experiences, and creating beauty in both the big and the quiet moments of life. This space is where all the pieces of me come together — the curious side, the intuitive side, the storyteller, the planner, and everything in between.

My Story

I was born on a snowy day in Maryland, but my story has always been shaped by several places at once. I spent my early years between Angola and Portugal, and Portugal in particular played a big role in who I became. Living there, often far from my parents, taught me resilience, independence, and how to stand up for myself. It is where I learned to trust my instincts, to adapt, and to feel comfortable in my own company.

Later, I moved back to Angola, where I stayed until college, surrounded by warmth, culture, and a sense of community that still feels like home. Eventually, curiosity led me into the wider world. I moved to Boston for my undergraduate studies, spent a transformative year abroad in London and Monaco, and later completed my master’s in Paris. Each place added something unique to who I am today, whether it was perspective, confidence, softness, or courage.

All of these experiences made me naturally multifaceted. I am the thoughtful observer, the intentional planner, the playful storyteller, and the warm host who loves bringing people together. My friends would probably say I bring ease into any room. I ask questions, I listen deeply, I laugh easily, and I create space for others to feel comfortable.

Travel is woven into my identity, not only as movement from one place to another but as a way of discovering meaning. I am happiest when I am exploring new places, adopting local habits, or having long conversations with people who view life from different angles. I love cozy routines, sunshine, long walks, and anything that blends intention with spontaneity.

At my core, I am guided by curiosity, connection, and creativity. I believe we are shaped by the places we experience and the people we meet, and that life feels most beautiful when we allow all those versions of ourselves to exist together with gentleness.

My Ethos

My philosophy began with something my grandfather always told me: “Education is the only legacy worth passing on.” He earned his electrical engineering degree at 72 and believed that knowledge is the one thing that can never be stolen from you. You must nurture it, expand it, and document it. With that as my foundation, I grew up seeing travel through a different lens. I became intrigued by the way people lived, the choices they made, and the cultures they carried. I wanted to understand the “why” behind it all. Today, my ethos is simple: to expand knowledge through travel and human connection.
